I have known Tom and his wife Helen since designing their wedding bands several years ago, so it was lovely to receive a call from Tom to say he had an idea for a beautiful ring for Helen
as a surprise.

Helen had been dropping a few hints she may love a ring but Tom hadn't managed to ask a lot of questions without giving the game away.
​
I was able to meet up with Tom to discuss ideas. It was clear Helen would love a coloured stone in quite a delicate style of ring. From our chat I was able to go away and come up with several ideas and sketches for Tom to look over.
​
Tom instantly chose several ring designs he thought Helen would love. I was then able to get some stones in for Tom to choose from to make the perfect ring for Helen.

Tom was torn in-between a beautiful green peridot stone and this stunning blue Sapphire stone. Gut feeling won out and Tom decided that Helen would love the Sapphire more.
​
The beautiful rich blue oval sapphire is encased in a delicate rub over setting of white gold with two lovely round brilliant cut diamonds on either side.
​
Helen's bespoke Sapphire and Diamond ring has a rub over setting which is both practical and timeless
The white gold setting is left open underneath these beautiful rub over set stones so that light can flood through every stone.
